Leading by Example:
Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in Community Foundations
A project of CCFY and California Tomorrow

We are pleased to share the story of four community foundations who were engaged over a two-year period in "Leading By Example," a learning network designed to create an internal change process to increase their capacity to model equity, diversity and inclusive practices in their organizational structures and day-to-day operations. This was not an "initiative" but rather the beginning of an ongoing process that will be embedded in the structure and operations of the community foundations involved. We hope that the LBE participants' experiences will provide some insights for your community foundation and inspire you to do this internal change work.
