Change Makers:
The Leadership Role of Community Foundations
(2004)
by Chapin Hall and the Program on
Philanthropy and Community Change.
Based on a series of meetings with a group of senior, community foundation
leaders, this publication discusses the ways in which community foundations'
unique access, agility, credibility, and local knowledge places them in
a pivotal position at the center of community life and describes how community
foundations throughout the US are using their position to develop and
expand their leadership roles.
