CFLeads Sets Five-Year Vision for Community Leadership

CFLeads is at an exciting juncture. Landmark activity in the past year as the implementation partner of the Council on Foundations' Community Foundations Leadership Team — including convening the National Task Force on Community Leadership, creation of a two frameworks for community leadership and the launch of two Community Leadership Networks — has made CFLeads a focal point of community leadership activity in the community foundation field.

Today we are eager to join the challenge of reaching a tipping point on community leadership in the community foundation field by the end of 2012. Transformation within five years is a stretch goal for the community foundation field, but within reach. CFLeads' Board of Directors has decided to concentrate exclusively on supporting community leadership as the core competency of community foundations.
